Old Lashibi To Get A 12 Unit Classroom Block


As part of effort to turn Tema Metropolitan Assembly into a premier Port City of Ghana, a lot of developmental projects have taken off by the Assembly to fulfil this Agenda.
Old Lashibi, a suburb of Tema which would soon be part of the newly created Tema West Municipal Assembly, curved out of Tema has not been left out of the developmental train.
To this end, a sod-cutting ceremony to mark the commencement of work on the construction of a 12 unit classroom block for the Old Lashibi Primary 1, 2, and JHS respectively has been performed on the project site.
At the function, Hon. Felix Mensah Nii Anang-La, Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, hinted that his administration has laid a solid foundation for smooth take off of the newly created Tema West Municipal Assembly.
He said the Tema Restoration Agenda is a clarion call on all well-meaning Ghanaians especially residents of Tema to put their shoulders to the restoration of the Metropolis to find its rightful place.
The 12 unit classroom has auxiliary facilities such as Computer Laboratory, Staff room and Library.
